Fall of Damnos
Disappointing and lacklustre compared to any of the Horus Heresy novels. Not badly written but uninspiring and, at times, dull. Character development is very shallow and the end feels very rushed which is odd because the rest of the book felt very drawn out and repetitive. There is no real story here either and the characters seem to go from one event to the next with no linking events or motivations.
