APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Jackie Walsh captures the essence of great psychological thrillers in Familiar Strangers. Our protagonist, Becca, has her world turned upside down with a shattering revelation from her mother (suffering with early-onset Alzheimer’s) and the news soon threatens to unravel her entire life in very dangerous was. Walsh weaves hard-hitting emotion into her book expertly, and has an ability to sharply switch from compelling to poignant—with real suspense running through every twist and turn. The book explores identity brilliantly, and shows just how fragile it really is.
This has you gripped from the start. Was a bit disappointed with how it end, it just seemed to stop.
Brilliant right to the end
Gripping right till the end. Poor Becca.
