Mr Day ,

What’s with the cover ?

Set in deep dark British wintertime the second instalment in the Famous Five series is by turns unsettling and exciting. Mr Rowland is a sneaky bad guy who plays mind games with the still fragile George, we are introduced to a new location in Kirrin with the farmhouse (the island being off limits) and snow threatens to isolate the children from the outside world.

I’m just struggling to remember the scene depicted on the cover???
