Piper's grandma gave her a gift. But this wasn't just an ordinary stuffed owl. It was a magical owl named Feely Hoot, that comes to life when she is scared. While Piper's daddy is gone to get help with addiction, Feely Hoot helps with her with his wise song. Piper learns to rock, pet, and share her feelings with Feely Hoot. He reminds Piper to keep doing the things she loves and that she is brave enough to get through this difficult time. Once Piper starts feeling better, she realizes that she can help her friend Charlie by sharing Feely Hoot. This helps Charlie get through his scared feelings of his mother's addiction.
