Appellant was indicted for solicitation to commit capital murder in cause number 20030D05342. He was eventually re-indicted under cause number 20050D04727. After a jury convicted him, appellant filed a timely notice of appeal, citing the original cause number instead of the new one. The court of appeals dismissed his appeal for lack of jurisdiction.*fn1
