Clint Adams is on the trail of a couple of con artists who bilked a Denver widow out of her wealth—and left her dead. Their trail leads to New York City, where things are supposed to be more "civilized" than on the frontier—and the police don't take too kindly to the presence of a famous gunfighter.


But Clint's not looking for trouble, just justice, a search that takes him into the notorious Five Points neighborhood, where thievery is a way of life. And when he learns that the con artists aren't responsible for the widow's death, the Gunsmith prepares for a showdown with a remorseless killer...
