Absolutely Amazing, Emotional and Addictive Read
This is book one in The Risk Trilogy and it is Jameson and Lily’s story and omg what a great start to this trilogy and it is definitely a must read. Jameson works with his brothers at Phoenix Enterprise but everything to do with him is a front so that his brothers don’t see the real him and what he really is but how long can he keep this front that he constantly portrays because things are not what they seem. Lily works at the gentleman’s club without anyone knowing as it allows her to feel free from all the pressure as she is trying for a career like her grandfather so that she can make him proud of her even though she didn’t really want to do law and then something happened and she was kidnapped and not knowing if she will make it out alive. The more time that Jameson and Lily spend together things start to change and their connection, attraction and chemistry becomes so strong. My heart broke for Jameson with how high his walls were even around his family so that they wouldn’t see just how broken, suffering, traumatised, haunted and how dark his thoughts were from the death of his parents and it felt like he was on a road of self destruction and yet Lily seem to bring out a side of him that others didn’t see and there connection was so strong and just when you start to wonder what would happen next you get a cliffhanger ending which will have to wanting the next book and I can’t wait to read it because I am already totally hooked and addicted. Amelia Wilde is an amazing author and writer and certainly knows how to keep her readers attention and on the edge of their seat while turning the pages and her books are definitely worth reading.
