Publisher Description
Forgetting playboy Wells Silver was supposed to be easy. If only he didn’t make it impossible. Secrets are made on the sandy shores and in the sweet small towns of Silver Island, where friendships run deep, passions run hot, and the sexy Silvers are considered island royalty. Love in Bloom novels are written to stand alone and may also be enjoyed as part of the larger series, so dive right in and devour this fun, steamy romance.
Being born into the Silver empire comes with certain expectations, but charming restaurant owner Wells Silver has always taken pleasure in breaking the rules—in his personal and his professional life.
Victoria Braden never expected to become a widow at thirty-two, much less still be trying to figure out how to move on five years later. She’d planned to drown her sorrows in alcohol on what would have been her anniversary, not flirt with trouble and lose herself in a night of passion with Silver Island royalty, playboy Wells Silver. Forgetting Wells was supposed to be easy. But apparently the pushy player didn’t get the memo.

Absolutely loved it!
Who knew Wells could win me over?
When I first met him a few books ago, I’ll admit it, I was firmly not on Team Wells. But Flirting with Trouble completely flipped it. Melissa has a talent for taking a character you think you’ve figured out and peeling back the layers until you’re suddenly smitten and rooting for him like your fictional life depends on it.
Wells is charming and, let’s be honest, totally irresistible in this book. But it’s Victoria who truly steals the show with her quiet strength and raw vulnerability. She’s still carrying the weight of her late husband’s memory, torn between honoring the past and daring to hope for a future. Her journey felt real, emotional, and achingly relatable.
As always with every story from Melissa, emotions run high. There’s laughter, there are tears, and there are moments where I just wanted to scream, things I have come to take as standard when reading any of Melissas worlds. This one had me riding the romance rollercoaster with my heart in my throat and my Kindle glued to my hands.
If you’re craving a story with depth, heat, healing, and just the right dash of small-town charm, Flirting with Trouble is the perfect read. I absolutely cannot wait to see what’s next for Wells and Victoria, and let’s face it, I always want to visit Silver Island.
