Fantastic read. Emotional rollercoaster
Wow!!! Sally is an amazing character and the love her and Costin share is so pure that reading this book gripped me from the first words.
This book follows on from Burning Claw so you really need to read that first . Being reunited with her mate, friends and pack should have been a cause for celebration but Sally is utterly destroyed by her ordeal. As we have read in the other grey wolves books true mated pairs are utterly devoted to each other and the very idea of being touched by another is repulsive, so how does Sally get past what she had no knowledge or control over?! You'll have to read the book to find that out.
Quinn had me in tears, big ugly sobs before the end of the first chapter and that takes character depth to achieve. A reader needs to truly connect with the plot, characters and world to be able to get the kind of emotional response I had to this book between my tears and laughing out load my daughter thought I'd lost it.

Another wonderful grey wolves story
I am so glad Quinn continues to develop the story of Sally, Jen and Jacque and their world around them. This novella continues to add depth and colour to their story and really helps us to understand Sally and Costin more. It is an amazing, beautiful story which once again I could not put down and as always leaves me desperate to find out what is going to happen next! Well done Quinn and thank you for keeping these much loved characters so vibrant and exciting!
