Odd in places
This was quite a sweet romance story somewhat marred by too many introductions to the rest of the family who have larger roles in future books. There was also too much written about them and their conversations with the heroine in my opinion. This appears to continue in the first chapters of the second book when they keep referring to Cali, her romance and her wedding preparations.
The ending however appeared rushed as she suddenly decided to do something positive about her feelings and within a couple of pages that was it-finito! HEA.
I felt that better editing was required e.g. His early pictures being described as photos in the following paragraph and a description of him clamouring off the scaffold to mention just two mistakes that should have been spotted.
