From Whence We Came
Publisher Description
In my retirement I spend hours studying my family history and have accumulated over two thousand (and counting) names on the Jordan family tree. It brings me pleasure and someday my three grandsons may be interested enough to learn the roots “from whence we came”. I have few expectations that will happen any time soon.
My goal in writing this history is to report four significant family lines and their connection to me and my offspring; but also to go a step further, describing what daily life was like for our ancestors, connecting my readers to the politics, religion, and key world events that occurred during their time.
This volume will document the Jordan family roots in England and conclude when arrive on the shores of The New World. Volume II will pick up their lives in Colonial America and trace their fortunes into the 20th century.
