Frozen In Amber

Amber Tregannis spends her days defending wealthy sociopaths for her grandfather's prestigious law firm. She spends her nights working hard to avoid transforming into a Wer Cougar. As much as she enjoys the wild freedom of a hunt, she is petrified of the violence and mayhem she might inflict on innocent people.

She does not trust easily and has few friends. The few people she associates with regularly are not part of the Wer community.

Then one night when she can't suppress her need to run free under a full moon she is hunted.

The aftermath forces her to walk a delicate tightrope between her two worlds and confront her fears. Only then can she find the courage to face rogue Wer and trusted Veterinarians. Have they found a cure for the curse of the Wer, or do they doom her people to a half-life of indecision and weakness where they are now the prey
