Stellar!
Wept a little, enjoyed it a lot! I know squat about hockey, but my ignorance didn’t impede my enjoyment— writing was clear and I could figure most of the hockey stuff from the context.
Heaps of on-ice and in-bed tension. Characters are memorable and they crackle with a delicious mix of hot/tender chemistry. Absolutely wanted to knock their heads together (affectionately) but since they’re both riddled with concussions, it would be ill advised.
Devoured this, and will no doubt devour the next book in the series.
