1. INTRODUCTION Newborn gender is a focus of human and scientific interest. In addition to the known genetic factors that affect fetal development, several studies published in the last decades have considered the potential influence of fluctuations in environmental physical activity (solar, geomagnetic, cosmic ray) on physiologic and pathologic aspects of pregnancy and fetal development [1-9].
