A raw and heartfelt collection of poems documenting Cathy’s journey through breast cancer; from diagnosis to treatment and beyond. Getting It Off My Chest is a narrative that explores the highs and lows of living with breast cancer. The poems express vulnerability and resilience, sparked with the occasional dark flash of humour. Embedded audio tracks of each of the poems, read by Cathy, allow connection with the experience on a more intimate level. The collection also includes visually striking photographs which document the physical impact of the disease. All proceeds will go to cancer charities.
