Publisher Description
Isabel, a world-weary photojournalist, is grounded back home in Oklahoma, when her car plummets off a bridge into a lake. Struggling on the edge between life and death, she's miraculously saved by the Water Goddess, but with one tiny caveat: Isabel must travel to another time to seduce the legendary Lancelot du Lac away from Queen Guinevere.
Simple. After all, the handsome knight is a dream for any woman in any century. Unfortunately Isabel is the one who's seduced - by the soulful eyes of the wise and soft-spoken King Arthur. But for Isabel, a deal is a deal. Now, the King watches as fate takes from him the mysterious beauty he has come to worship, knowing all too well that any interference on his part could destroy the kingdom he loves.

P.C Cast was not wrong when she said this was a favourite. It's fast become one of mine. A good story line with loads of bits that are just neatly placed. It has a little bit of everything that a makes a good book. Maybe a tad short in some of the interwoven stories and the ending came a bit fast but by all hints there maybe others to look forward to to more than make up for the abrupt end. Loved it through and through
Not up to the usual PC Cast standard
Very disappointing as I LOVED the rest of the books in the series. Whatever you do, don't let this be the first PC Cast book you read because she is capable of SO MUCH BETTER!
Good and close to Great
Pretty darn good. Not as fabulous as Divine Novels or House of Night series, but memorable. Will read the others in the collection. Only negatives was that the ending didn't cut it for me and the formatting was all messed up.
