Gold Pieces

Gold Pieces is a novel of short stories set
against the background of Missouri communities like Harrisonville, Sedalia,
Rocheport and Clinton. Like central
character Ben Cooper/John Paden, a veteran of the Civil War, his descendants
return from their wars searching to re-start their lives but never the
same. Gold Pieces examines the impact
of war within the confines of a particular family.
