An enigma of cult
Goldfrapp are the ultimate enigma. Those haunting melodies keep their fans on the edge always wanting more and in some respects this brief magazine article does the same. Well written and almost cosy l felt I wanted more from the author and especially Alison and Will. Though we will have to suffice with this brief insight into the band and their "Raison d'être" it keeps the mist of cult spinning in our minds so you never quite get the whole picture. Perhaps some day we will get the whole story in a book? How about it?

Nice snapshot
Very brief encounter with the enigma that is Goldfrapp. I'm a recentish convert to their genius and have been to see them live four times in the past six years. Each time they have totally blown me away.
I've always suspected there is a hint of madness in Alison Goldfrapp, mainly because her performances lead you to that conclusion. I'm torn between wanting to read more about the mechanism behind the "tick" and keeping it concealed.
Either way I'll be listening :)
