Publisher Description
Book 5 describes the mechanisms and indications of the subluxation and the accompanying compensatory changes, and offers evidence of these fundamental elements for the effective and successful practice of chiropractic. Dr Gonstead defined a spinal misalignment as a subluxation when compression on the neural structures causes nerve dysfunction. This simplistic definition is expanded in greater detail in Book 6, but its essence remains the same. The historic context of the formal discovery of the subluxation as understood and applied by 80% of the chiropractic profession are presented.
