Jean Rubin has three months to plan her daughter's wedding in tony Scottsdale. A vicious gossip columnist known as "the Mouth" begins to harass her in his weekly column, "Rumors and Innuendos". As the vitriolic diatribes accelerate, Jean manages a nervous bride, a neurotic wedding planner and a family from the Deep South. When a member of the community turns up murdered everyone is a suspect, including Jean.
