Quite confusing but good
Relatively good basic storyline but writing flows poorly
The Guardian of Souls book review
Having read this book about a cross between a vampire slayer/protecting human lives/maintaining peace between vampires and humans in a new world with a very different environment and atmosphere compared to today - I thought the basic plot sounds good so I'll try the book...
The book was quite difficult to read as there were spelling mistakes that mattered and grammar mistakes which had a significant impact on the flow of the story. This stopped me from getting lost in the story and enjoying it! The storyline and clarity of some issues mid-end of the book needed clearing up-I'm not mentioning them on this review in consideration for those of you who have not read the book yet as it will spoil the story for you. Although it was a little confusing and just when I thought the story was going somewhere- the book ended.
Overall, the basic plot, storyline and characters are relatively good but I would of expected thus book to be a draft ready for the editors inspection as opposed to a finished published book. The story flow and detail with clarity needed more work on the book...the idea behind the plot is great it just needed done more work before being published!
Sorry for the long critique guys it's just that I do read all the time and cab get through up to 4 novels a day but on average 1-2 daily as I do have a life and yes I can answer questions about the books I've read as I love to read and it's not often I come across an idea for a story that I've never come across before so if your looking for a simple quick vampirish story give this book a go! But Due to all the issues I encountered when reading this book I am rating thus at 2**
Overall if you are not put off by my review I would recommend this book for: A quick simple vampirish story ideal for a bus journey home and it's free!
