Hard Look Back

Stephanie Hart is thriving as a new police officer in Port Angel. Her routine world is shaken, however, when two young sisters are kidnapped, likely by a serial predator and murderer. To complicate matters, a news reporter reveals that the sisters' stepfather was implicated years ago in an assault while he was a teenager in Chicago.

The Port Angel police are racing to find the girls before the unthinkable happens and Hart and her colleagues have to use their instincts, skills, and determination to find the girls and decide if their stepfather is an unfortunate victim or a predator himself; and time is running out.

And Stephanie Hart has made it clear: not on my watch.
