The Devil On Her Shoulder
Wow what can I say, I was totally blown away by the first book in The Stone series. This being my first read of a Dakota Willink novel it was a magnificent and totally unexpected beautiful book, and hey I certainly will follow and read many more of her amazing books! The storyline flowed beautifully and was superbly written, with amazing characters that drew me in from the very first page. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series! Certainly a book I can highly recommend as a must read
Ol Blue Eyes, Alexander Stone and his tenuous relationship with Krystina Cole was a serious slow burn that was enthralling. Both have dark past issues around commitment. Krystina will never give up her independence and is totally off controlling men! Why can Alexander not read Krys and will the power of persuasion be enough to convince Krys of a no commitment relationship? What is Alexander’s complex end game? Can the only woman who cannot be manipulated by him accept his lifestyle and proclivities? Will their secrets and no trust and honesty between them be their downfall? Can Krystina hold on to her hard fought for independence?
