‘Heavy Poodles’ is the story of two US soldiers, who in the final months of WWII, accidentally stumble across something unearthly that will change their lives forever. Stretching over the decades through to modern times, this is a rather alternative look at what constitutes America.

Ian Fraser is a South African writer and playwright, now a permanent resident in the US. His memoir, My Own Private Orchestra, was published by Penguin (South Africa) in 1993 and was nominated for the CNA Literary Awards.
