Publisher Description
“You’ve won a trip to visit the old castles of Europe as well as a luxurious spa,” reads a letter that arrives at the bookstore where Sara works. The only problem is, she doesn’t remember entering any contest! Her heart still stung by old wounds, Sara isn’t particularly interested in claiming her prize, but her friend badgers her into leaving for the Kingdom of Carvania anyway. But when she arrives, he’s waiting for her—Aleks, her old lover who vanished without so much as a word five years ago. He’s the owner of the castle where she’s staying…and the prince of Carvania! With cold eyes, he leads her to a young boy’s sickbed and tells her he’s brought her there so she can be an organ donor for the boy…the son she abandoned years ago!

More Romance…Good Suspense
I did like this story; it had a good plot and the manga itself was nicely done.
However, I felt that this manga should be classed more as Suspense for the main genre than Romance. The only reason being that there wasn’t much romance between the hero and heroine - only more so towards the end. I didn’t really feel the romance in this manga and felt as though it was forced to make it more suited to Harlequin and Mills & Boon publishings. But, it is a manga version of an original romance novel, so I do acknowledge that it would be mere impossible to cram in every detail from the original.
I just wish there was more of a chance to bond with the characters and really get to grips with the hero’s and heroine’s relationship because I really wasn’t feeling it. But, like I said, the suspense was great (all readers were probably tearing their hair out because of how blind the hero was and how adamant he was that both his mother and the servant were innocent) and the plot was good like the actual manga. Additionally, despite how little of it there was, the romance at the end was cute, I just wish we could’ve seen more of that throughout.
That’s why I’m giving this manga a 3-star rating!
