A seemingly sedate nature hike goes horrifically awry in Nell Pattison’s wintry thriller. Shortly after a group of seven birdwatchers enter a secluded nature reserve, one of them has been shot dead. Pattison slowly exposes the demons, desires and secrets inside each of the group, and reveals the tangled relationships between them—leaving you guessing and re-guessing who the shooter might be, and who their sights will be trained on next.
