Eleanor/ Elle was madly in love with Rowan Albright but he was settled in the town and she not wanting to feel trapped, left. Went to work in design in NYC . Now 14years later her boss has filed harassment charges against her for not giving in to his advances , go figure? Rowan settled on his family’s farm Willowbrook. After eavesdropping a conversation he finds out that he needs to marry within a year to inherit his beloved farm . He thinks that with his love long gone he will need to find another willing hand to wear his ring and just as he decides his public proposal to Becky the farm hand who should enter stage right but Elle….Determined to show Rowan she can settle , she sorts a rental property, a bank loan and cuts herself a new career , women’s clothing boutique Elegance Couture. Rowan agrees to give them a chance but of course it’s not as easy as it seems and there’s a lot of occurrences that set her business venture back too. Brilliant , imaginative writing with great wit and descriptors . Well written fun read. I was forwarded a copy of this book and I’m leaving my review voluntarily in my own words
