Absolutely Beautiful Friends To Lovers Story
This is book four in The Playing For Keeps series and it is Bailey and Gonzo’s story. Bailey and Gonzo are childhood best friends and have always been there for each regardless of the circumstances or situation. When Bailey moves across country to be with her fiancé only to find out that he had been lying and cheating on her she had no where to live and that is when Gonzo came to help her. Gonzo is a third baseman for The Hawks and enjoys being single and able to get any woman that he wants but when his best friend Bailey is in a difficult situation and needs somewhere to live after finding out what her fiancé was doing he offered her a place to stay with him not knowing that this will change everything between them and also their lives. Bailey had so much baggage, trust issues and insecurities and these fears seemed to hold her back and made her think that she is not worthy of a forever kind of love so she just tries to make the best of a situation so that she can move forward after so much hurt. The more time that Gonzo and Bailey spend together things start to change into something that neither was expecting but with Bailey holding back it will take everything that Gonzo has to be patient and show Bailey that they are meant to be together but will he win in the end. This really is a beautiful friends to lovers story that will have you turning the pages to see what the outcome is for them and if Gonzo will eventually get Bailey so that they can have the happiness and future that they both deserve. I absolutely loved this book and series and I can’t wait to read more books in the future.
