Publisher Description
Three weeks before her wedding day, aged 32, Julie suffered a near fatal stroke. With family and friends clambering for information her fiancé James turned to email and online forums in order to update and reach out to loved ones. A truly moving and inspirational account, illustrating that love really can conquer all.

This account deserves to be in the 'best seller' lists because this is a true story honestly told. James has done us a great service by allowing us to participate with him and Julie on this continuing adventure.
Honest, matter of fact, humorous, moving, factual, totally lacking in self pity, and literally brilliant.

Holding on for Dear Life
I am truly humbled by the love and dedication that James and Julie demonstrate in this truly amazing journey. The emotional suffering and the choices they have to make are brilliantly articulated and I disagree with one of James's opening comments, he is a fabulous writer and should be very proud to have written such a fantastic book.
Knowing that every word in the book is true, real and above all honest gives you shivers. I couldn't put the book down and am left wanting to know more of the future.
What an amazing story and thank you so much for sharing this, as it is an inspiration and after all puts life, loving and living into perspective.
God bless both of you!
