Tasty little Gem!!

I found this little gem of a book easy to read and quite charming! The recipes are clear and the end results are really tasty. I’m a comitted carnivore so I was suprised at just how much I enjoyed the dishes described in this lovely book - it’s hard to feel you're missing out on something when each bite of Banitsa is so warming and fulfilling!! I highly recommend this journey into the Balkans - as much for the insights into life in the hills and oak forests of Bulgaria as for the delicious recipes.
