Jesika is four and a half. She lives in a flat with her mother and baby brother and she knows a lot.
She knows their flat is high up and the stairs are smelly. She knows she should not draw on the wall where the wallpaper is peeling or touch the broken window. And she knows she loves her mummy and Toby.
She does not know that their landlord is threatening to evict them and that Toby’s cough is going to get much worse. Or that Lauren, her new best friend, has a secret that will explode their world.

Absolutely incredible book.
Loved every single page of it, and one I could definitely read again. I would definitely recommend reading it, as it filled you with every emotion possible.
I saw her on This Time Next Year!
I saw her on this time next year and instantly wanted to read her book!!
Very cleverly written
Took me a few pages to get my head around the fact it is actually written like how a 4 year old would talk, but it was so refreshing to read from this new perspective! This book was so cleverly written and the story was very gripping, I really enjoyed this book!
