Sisters, beware the 'Wasteman of Whitewell' . . .
As host of radio show Brown Sugar, Kiki Banjo's mission is to protect her listeners from heartbreak. Which puts Whitewell College's newest student, handsome 'player' Malakai Korede, at the top of her hitlist.
But when Kiki's dream summer internship in New York depends on finding a fresh angle for her radio show, she must make an unlikely bargain with Malakai himself - to put their simmering clashes aside to form a fake relationship, something sweet and spicy enough to win over the whole campus.
However, close proximity to the notorious heartbreaker brings everything Kiki thought she knew about her own heart into question. Why does throwing out her stringent romantic rulebook suddenly so tempting?
Will she find it in her to resist?
A fresh, utterly addictive rom-com from Sunday Times bestselling author Bola Babalola, Honey & Spice is full of delicious tension and romantic intrigue that will make you weak at the knees.

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Flirting–good flirting–has its own drumbeat; an unseen force that seems to govern the back and forth. Not only does Bolu Babalola capture this perfectly in Honey & Spice, but whether she’s writing about her characters’ heartbreak or their hope, their treasured friendships or their burning ambitions, her prose has its own irresistible rhythm—the kind that sucks you into their world completely. A follow-up to her bestselling short-story collection Love in Colour, her debut novel features a heroine, Kiki, who dispenses a lot of (good) relationship advice but does not do relationships. Until she meets a new guy who’s just transferred to her university and already appears interested in multiple women (the feeling is mutual). Babalola’s loving treatment of time-honoured romance tropes—the fake relationship is a classic for good reason—feels entirely fresh, and her ability to transcribe what it’s like to have chemistry with someone is enough to give you butterflies.

Best book ever
What exactly are you doing if you haven’t read this book because in my all my years of life it is definitely the best book i have layer hands on. It is so beautifully written to make you interested enough to actually feel the characters and seem like real life. Im in with love the way the comedy and romance intertwines so naturally. I also love how the book wasn’t only about a romantic relationship, friendship was very important as well as really understanding who people are behind their front. I don’t think I have ever rated a book but this? top shelf IMMEDIATELY. I already wish i could read it from beginning for the first time because it’s already my favourite book and i canNOT wait for the sequel. Thank you Bolu for sharing this masterpiece❤️
