Enjoyed this story
I really enjoyed reading about Brett and Estie. Brett is a back up quarterback who suffers from PTSD after a tour in the military, he’s also shorter than most quarterbacks. The moment he meets Estie, he falls for her but she has a wimpish fiancé in tow, the truth is that she doesn’t really want to marry him. This is a good, well written story that explores the darker side of PTSD but also has lighter moments, especially with the mutual love that Brett and Estie have for animals. I loved Bongo, what a great character and as for Tyler, he’s so arrogant he’s brilliant. Great book.
