A delightful family saga complete with an intriguing mystery
In House on the Harbor the reader is introduced to four sisters who have gathered in their hometown of Birch Harbor for the reading of their late mother's will. For some reason the estate was not divided equally as expected, one sister being completely ignored. Three sisters moved away from their home town leading independent lives, whilst the youngest sister stayed, living a quiet life and caring for her mother. Yet it's the youngest sister who's left out of the will.
Whilst trying to unravel the secret of the will, the fours sisters are having to come to terms with their present lives and decide what the future might hold.
House on the Harbor is first in the series about the Hannigan sisters of Birch Harbor, each book is complete without a cliffhanger.
