How to survive in a hostel

I'm a digital nomad and journalist with passion for travel and hostels. During the last ten years I have traveled halfway around the world to answer my calling. A large part of this odyssey was spent in countless hostels, and moving from place to place. When I was returning home after a year in Zealand, somewhere over the Australian desert, the idea of putting my life in hostels down on paper popped into my head. My intention began to take shape right after I became convinced that there was no such book on the market. You can easily find a huge pile of articles and tips on "how to survive in a hostel" on the Internet, but no authors covers the phenomenon of hostel living, as comprehensively as I do in this book. Even though at first glance, it may seem as a guide to the hostel world, I didn't want it to be just an endless recounting of tips and tricks on what to do and what not to do. My intention was to make the reader laugh a little, so I peppered the narration with authentic stories from my travels and life in hostels, which demonstrate the very tips in practice. I was driven by an vision, to create a guide that has the motivation to become a cult for everyone, whether they are beginning nomads or just beginner tourists.
