A Must Read Even Despite Some Weaknesses
Having read it, I recommend starting with the four authoritative 'appendices', which deserve to be introductory chapters in their own right for their clarity. On the other hand, his account of consequentialist utilitarianism, despite his extensive reading, is unnecessarily oriented towards the artificial numeration of satisfactions and dissatisfactions.
