Hunt for Glory

Roy Calley works for BBC Sport and has been involved in F1 in one form or another since the mid 70s. His all-time sporting hero was James Hunt, ever since seeing him race in 1976. The only time he saw him in the flesh so to speak was behind the main grandstand ahead of the 1978 British Grand Prix. In typical Hunt fashion, he was walking to the paddock barefoot! Roy also recently wrote 'Blackpool: The Complete Record', recently published by DB Publishing, which is a statistical history of his other sporting passion, Blackpool FC.
