Out on a walk in London with Algy and Ginger, Biggles bumps into a young lad called Dick Denver. A chance encounter perhaps, but there isn't time for formal introductions.

Dick knows the location of a secret treasure trove, hidden in an old pirate ship in the Caribbean. His father's final letter contained a map detailing how to find it, and a single gold doubloon as proof. He needs Biggles' help to find the rest.
