We haven’t read many contemporary romances set in New Zealand, but this one is an unqualified winner. In a Lifetime tells the story of a love triangle between university pals Ella, Sam and Sam’s best mate, Matt. From the opening page, we were enthralled—and we couldn’t really stop reading until we found out who Ella chose: charming Sam or dependable Matt? Ariadne Wayne creates beautifully real characters and brings Auckland and the surrounding countryside to life.

Truly heartwarming
This was a beautiful tale of true love, and true friendship, that had me hooked from the start. Getting to know the characters was easily done, with clear scene settings and descriptive writing. Matt is a genuine gentleman and Ella's knight in shining armour and their story is wondrous.
