In Re House of Yahweh

In this mandamus proceeding, House of Yahweh, Yisrayl Hawkins, and Shandra Hawkins challenge the trial courts order compelling them to produce their federal income tax returns and various financial records. We conclude that the trial court did not abuse its discretion by ordering the relators to produce documents showing their net worth. However, we also conclude that the trial court erred by ordering the relators to produce their tax returns and other documents that would not necessarily evidence their net worth. Therefore, we conditionally grant in part the writ of mandamus.
