The inhabitants of the quiet Oxford street are in shock. How could this happen right under their noses? But DI Adam Fawley knows that nothing is impossible.

And that no one is as innocent as they seem . . .

The second twisty, up-all-night thriller from the Sunday Times bestselling Cara Hunter. For fans of Shari Lapena, Claire Douglas and Lisa Jewell.

Good

Really good read !

Muddle, muddle…

I did not like the way this story was told. It was so difficult to follow because the characters were so lightly drawn and the action was so muddled. Maybe it would have been a good story if it had been well written.

Again surprised!

When a story has too many twists and turns, it can feel rather forced and boring, difficult to follow even. Not this one! I don’t know how she does it but my brain loves her way of story telling. It feels real! It’s full of rational and logical mistakes and I think if it wouldn’t be a story, in the real world it probably would never have been solved. Great story, for me it’s a new concept, I’m more a King reader and recently started venturing out and read the Dresden files (bloody good!) but also Baldacci, Child, Pattinson, Rankin and so on. But this one here…I need to take a break because she won’t let me go to sleep!! Highly recommend! Xx
