Enthralling weirdness

This is a strange book to put it mildly. It’s not easy to follow who is speaking or when. The plot seems non linear and it’s not a typical novel at all. Some great story writing within the book which centres around a school and an AA centre for addiction. This book explores many dark subjects and is one of those books which, when finished one thinks “what have I just read?” And want to re read. Interesting novel.

Superb!

David Foster Wallace will be so missed. Infinite Jest, just one of his many masterpieces. After reading this, I would recommend having a look at some of his earlier works before attempting The Pale King. His work also includes some Non fiction titles, my favourite being Everything and More.
In true DFW style (1) I will conclude.
(1) always read his notes, almost a second novel within the first!
