This is the fourth in a series of instructional pamphlets that are put out into the world using different channels of commerce as conduits for distribution – covertly placed inside products in the mall; stuffed inside postage-paid reply envelopes from junk mail; and dropped into a myriad of commercial locations for the public to happen upon unexpectedly. They are inspired by the tactics of military PSYOPS pamphlets and the guerrilla distribution techniques of Jack Chick Christian comics. This fourth pamphlet was created specifically for the phone.
The exercise of imagining alternative futures is to see an ideal destination and head out of the present. This is the function of utopia as concept. A non-place to which to aspire, a location that is never reached but that moves us toward a better future. This book is dedicated to that better future.
The people and locations in this pamphlet are fictional. The activities are performed by cartoons. Attempting the actions seen here may result in bodily harm. The author makes no claim that employing these methods will result in utopia. This illustrated thesis is purely speculative.
