'HELL YES. This is one of those books that has the potential to change things - a monumental piece of research' Caitlin Moran

Imagine a world where...

· Your phone is too big for your hand
· Your doctor prescribes a drug that is wrong for your body
· In a car accident you are 47% more likely to be injured.

If any of that sounds familiar, chances are you're a woman.

From government policy and medical research, to technology, workplaces, and the media. Invisible Women reveals how in a world built for and by men we are systematically ignoring half of the population, often with disastrous consequences. Caroline Criado Perez brings together for the first time an impressive range of case studies, stories and new research from across the world that illustrate the hidden ways in which women are forgotten, and the profound impact this has on us all.

Amazing, should be mandatory reading for all!

Although a dry read and quite long I absolutely loved and devoured it. Possibly my favorite book to date. I feel like this book could teach our government a thing or two. It should be mandatory reading for boys and girls - for mps and crap prime ministers. The book inspires you to make a change and get involved in any way you can.. it also frustrates the hell out of you reading time after time about data on women being non-existent. Intersectional, feminist and makes the answer plainly simple.. involve women and in that- you will reap rewards as well.

Life changing

This is the first non fiction book I’ve read all the way through, and for good reason. It’s engaging and goes into intelligent arguments without alienating readers who prefer more simple reading. It’s eye opening and well presented, and it’s contents will stay with me forever. Some of the vague feelings of inequality I’ve felt throughout life, but have been unable to explain what it is exactly that feels unfair, have been given a voice here and it’s such a relief to realise the issues were real and not imagined, and that the data backs their existence. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone who is ready to have their perception of the world changed
