Is There Something ... ‪?‬

It is a barren part of space. No star systems, certainly no planets and nothing that could sustain life. Why then, are people attracted here and why do they start acting in strange ways when they arrive? Is there something here after all?
This is a science fiction novel describing a series of separate tales of mysterious behaviour including murder, assault and sabotage but they are all linked together in a common theme surrounding this peculiar part of space.
