After losing her job in New York, Amber stops off in Cranbridge, England, shocked to find her godmother Cathy’s quaint village shop down-at-heel. Battling grief and illness, Cathy is struggling to stay on top of things, despite the best efforts of her son, Josh. But when Josh and Amber are left to run Cranbridge Stores on their own, they start to transform it into something more flourishing. As business picks up, friendships are formed, loneliness is replaced with a sense of belonging and romance begins to blossom. Heart-warming and insightful, Sherlock crafts a read with enough warmth to keep readers spellbound to its magical end.
