Publisher Description
Real life is messier than the movies. A bold, thought-provoking novel from the exceptionally talented, Steven Camden.
He’s Luke. She’s Leia.
Just like in Star Wars. Just like they’re made for each other. Same film studies course, different backgrounds, different ends of town.
Only this isn’t a film. This is real life. This is where monsters from the past come back to take revenge. This is where you are sometimes the monster. And where the things we build to protect us, can end up doing the most harm…

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
This is one of the most fun and original love stories we’ve read in a while. Luke takes two buses to attend a prestigious uni film studies program across town. Luke’s classmate Leia comes from a well-to-do family, but she shares his taste in film and his artistic passion. There’s so much more to It's About Love than its entertaining meet-cute, opposites-attract premise. With its intelligent protagonists, wrenching drama and warm emotion, the novel has the universal appeal of coming-of-age classics like The Fault in Our Stars and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. We loved Luke’s heartfelt notebook entries and the snippets of the screenplays he composes in private.

So thought provoking - couldn't put it down
I have never written book review before and don't know how to properly review a book - but I felt like I just HAD to write something about this book. It is the best book I have read in ages; I couldn't put it down. You get such an attachment to the main character - I desperately wanted him to succeed and really felt his despair when things went wrong. Some of the most emotional sentences in this book were short and simple. Beautifully written with such a honest approach - I wish I hadn't read it just so I could start reading it all over again!
Incredible 😍😍
This is one of my favourite books I've ever read😍 it has so many different mysteries and tells a compelling story about one boy; his past and love for his family and a girl. Amazing!!!!! Read it now 😍😍😍😍
Good second novel, worth reading
Having enjoyed seeing the author live a few times in London I was interested to try his new venture in writing books. I know they're billed as children's books but I don't really see them as such. I enjoyed this second book a lot and would recommend it to others to try. His writing is easy to follow and his descriptions conjure up people and places vividly. He's great at creating believable relationships between the characters and you care what happens to them as the story progresses.
