Publisher Description
Roxie Montgomery met her soul mate when she least expected it. When he asked her to marry him, she thought her happily ever after was only just beginning. Then, she found that walking into the sunset was much harder than her favorite books made it out to be.
After a crushing loss, she feels as though she doesn’t know her husband anymore, or rather…she doesn’t know herself.
Carter Marshall has loved Roxie since the first time he saw her. But as the days pass between them, so does the distance. He doesn’t know how to show her that he’s all in, and honestly doesn’t know if she’s in at all.
When an accident changes everything, they’ll have to decide if what they have can be salvaged, or if starting over is the answer. Or even possible.
**Jagged Ink is a marriage in jeopardy, nearly enemies to lovers, second chance romance in the Montgomery Ink: Colorado Springs series featuring Roxie and Carter. Each book can be read as a complete standalone. An HEA is guaranteed!**

Gripping & Enchanting
Jagged Ink is the third and final book is the Colorado Springs Montgomeries series. We already know so much and yet so little about youngest sister Roxie and her husband Carter. We know that they have been going through some tough times, but not why; we know that he was injured in a fire saving her sister, but not what happens next.
This book dealt with some difficult topics, delicately, but that changes the mood of the book; you feel the angst of uncovering their secrets and figuring out how they can love each so much, but not seem in love.
It is a gripping read and despite a deeper and moodier tone, it is also enchanting and romantic.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Can they fix what’s broken?
Roxie and Carter’s story what can I say about it. It was sad and heartbreaking all at once. We found the couple had got married and as we navigate this book it soon becomes clear that something happened to them that makes Roxie question the marriage and Carter unable to voice how he is feeling which leads to one conclusion.....divorce. It didn’t bother me with the lack of conversations between characters but it does show what millions of people do and say in their own heads every day when faced with this scenario. With the strain and the papers signed will this be the end of this couple? Although people within the book said they wouldn’t take sides I found that only Landon and Ryan came out to talk to Carter whilst everyone else seemed to blame him. A great read from the start and I certainly devoured it in one. I can’t wait to see Landon’s story.
Love this series but not my favourite
I found this really hard to rate and review. On one hand I absolutely love CAR and most of her books I loved the way the book was written and included very well into the current series but I just didn’t jell well with Carter and Roxi, even though I’ve been waiting to find out what all drama between them was all about.
I know not every relationship is easy and needs working at but I just felt that it was all unnecessary because of there lack of there communication and they hurt each other and there family because of something as simple as them not wanting to stop working and talk to each other.
I could of given 5 stars just because I love this author but I really didn’t enjoy this book like all the others and couldn’t rate dishonestly.
