Courtenay at his best

Having enjoyed The Power of One and the sequel Tandia, I did not think they could be equalled. Jessica, although totally different was a most compelling story-unputdownable. A fine tale of triumph over disaster and conflict as well as a good insight into Australia during the first World war.
