Publisher Description

They did not know that He was alive, and that is the state of very many Christians. They look to the Cross, and they struggle to trust Christ, but they have never yet learned the blessedness of believing that there is a living Christ to do everything for them. Oh! that word of the angel to the women! "Why seek ye the living among the dead?" What is the difference between a dead Christ, whom the women went to anoint, and a living Christ? A dead Christ, I must do everything for; a living Christ does everything for me. The disciples began the morning with a sad heart. I fancy very possibly they spent a sleepless night.

Simple powerful truth

Murray outlines the simple powerful truth that true dynamic Christianity is a first and foremost relationship based with the living Christ. Yes he came, died but he also rose again and ascended in power. This same power lives in us. Our issue is that we forget that the living Christ is wholly ours. This book is written in a very much personal 'Pauline' letter style. However the truth is still the same if we choose to let our religion become relationship and develop intimacy with Jesus 'every day, minute'.
